Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Capawble, including our mobile apps and the web app at capawble.com (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

Who can use Capawble

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service. By using Capawble you represent that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate. If you use the Service on behalf of a business (for example as a professional dog trainer), you represent that you are authorized to do so.

Your account

You are responsible for the activity under your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization. Trainers may invite dog parents to connect; each person is responsible for their own account.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these Terms.
• Upload content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes another person's rights.
• Attempt to access data belonging to other trainers or users, or to probe, scan, or breach the security of the Service.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, or impose an unreasonable load on our infrastructure.
• Reverse engineer, copy, or resell the Service except as permitted by law.

Your content

You retain ownership of the content you submit, such as your methodology, notes, photos, voice notes, and documents ("Your Content"). You grant Capawble a limited license to host, process, and display Your Content as needed to operate and improve the Service, including processing it through AI features to generate proposals you review. You are responsible for Your Content and for having the rights necessary to submit it.

AI-assisted features

Capawble offers AI-assisted features that generate suggestions and drafts (for example proposed methodology entries or session summaries). These outputs are proposals only. They are presented for review and are not applied to your records until a trainer confirms them. AI outputs may contain errors and are not professional advice. You are responsible for reviewing them and for the training decisions you make. Capawble does not provide veterinary, medical, or behavioral guarantees, and the Service is a tool to support a trainer's professional judgment, not a substitute for it.

Relationship between trainers and dog parents

Capawble provides software that connects trainers and dog parents. Any training services, agreements, fees, or arrangements between a trainer and a dog parent are solely between those parties. Capawble is not a party to that relationship and is not responsible for the conduct, methodology, or services of any trainer or dog parent.

Service availability and changes

The Service is currently offered as a beta and may change, be interrupted, or be discontinued. We may add, modify, or remove features at any time. We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms or if we are required to do so by law. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (such as content licenses already exercised, disclaimers, and limitations of liability) will survive.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Capawble and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Snohomish County, Washington.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you in the app. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
